Upload a File

This form allows users to upload images such as screen captures and Hormonal Forecaster data files so that they can easily be accessed. After uploading the file, an internet address will be provided that can be used to access the uploaded file. In this way, a screen capture of the program can easily be uploaded and the link emailed to a friend to visit. This method of uploading does not make the information public - you need the internet address URL to access the file. Alternatively, it is also possible to upload a data file or image to a message board post.

Only image files and Hormonal Forecaster program data files (your personal HFC files) can be uploaded. No files greater than 250 kilobytes in size are allowed. In order to upload files, you need to have a Message Board login user name as password. If you do not already have one, you can obtain one by visiting the Sign Up Screen.

How To Upload a Screen Capture from the Hormonal Forecaster

  1. Run the Hormonal Forecaster. Open the data file of interest and go to the program screen that you wish to capture.
  2. All screens that can be captured will have a 'Capture to Image File' option that will appear under the 'File' menu. Select this option to capture the current window to file. If this option is not available under the 'File' menu, then you cannot capture that screen.
  3. A new screen will appear which will ask you to specify the quality of the image file that you desire. Select an appropriate quality and press 'Create Image File'.
  4. The Hormonal Forecaster will now prompt you to specify a location where you would like to save the file. Browse your computer to find an appropriate location to place the file and give it a filename. You will need to be able to find this file later (i.e. make sure you remember the location that you specify).
  5. You should be notified by the Hormonal Forecaster that your captured image has been created.
  6. Now you can upload this screen capture. Simply enter you login information in the form above on this web page, and then press 'Browse...' and find the file that you created in the earlier steps.
  7. Press 'Upload File' to upload the file to the Hormonal Forecaster Message Board webspace.
